Happy Feast of Tabernacles!

I hope everyone found a great spot to celebrate the feast of tabernacles. The weather seems perfect for it in many spots in the U.S. I was reading more about the feast days because I’m new at keeping them. I am trying to be obedient to Yah in all things. He has shown me the history and some of the significance of the feast days. As I take steps to be obedient like a child taking her first wobbly steps, He shows me more truth.

Pay Attention To Yah’s Appointed Times and Seasons

I recently visited a church (yes-I actually stepped inside a church!) upon invitation by a pastor. It still amazes me that when I mention the feast days and especially the feast of tabernacles I get this “deer in the headlights look.” The next few sermons then are taught on how Paul supposedly spoke about the handwriting of the law being abolished.

Don’t get me wrong, I do not believe that the law can save us; only Yahushua can save us. We are living in the end times, and it is imperative that we become close followers of Yahushua. Yahushua kept the law and the feast days… and by the way so did Paul. Paul made sure that he made it back to Jerusalem for the feast of Pentecost (Acts 20:16).

I do not believe that Yah gives the power of His Ruach ha Kodesh to people who are not obedient to His Word, commands, ordinances, and statutes. A lot of people want to operate in the power of the Ruach ha Kodesh but are unwilling to pay the price of obedience. There is an order to the kingdom of Yah based on obedience.

The Shaking Will Come

When the shaking comes (Hebrews 12:25-29; Isaiah 13:13), many people will try and call on the name of the Master for salvation. Since they have closed their ears to following His Word, they should not be surprised when the Eloha of the Bible closes His ears when they attempt to call on Him.

Even the Master Yahushua stated that the Father was greater than all (John10:29). The same Father that gave Moses the ordinances is the same Father that spoke through Yahushua. The Master Yahushua only spoke what the Father told Him to speak.

Once the judgement begins, many people will be vehemently calling out the titles of l-rd and g-d hoping to be saved even though these titles have pagan roots that are associated with false deities. Do you really believe that the Yah of the bible is going to hear them who have disregarded His commands and are calling Him by the names of false deities. I would not stake my eternal salvation on it!!!

Walk in the Power of the Ruach ha Kodesh

If we look at all the people in the Scriptures, the ones that have operated in power were the ones that feared Yah enough to be obedient to His commands. I’m not talking about the power that collecting large amounts of money has with men but true power given by Yah.

I also have to caveat that statement with “given by Yah” because there will be lying wonders in the last days done by people who have sold out to satan. When the Messiah returns and resurrects His saints, I believe that power of the enemy to deceive with false miracles will be broken. It is no coincidence that the dragon went to make war with those who keep the commands of Yah and have the testimony of Yahushua.

Know the Word Because We Perish For Lack of Knowledge

Many people today in the “churches” do not even realize that Pentecost was established prior to the early church spoken of in Acts. I can not be too hard on them because I’m just now studying this subject myself, and I have no excuse because I have had over thirty years’ worth of opportunity to read the scriptures.

Pentecost was also known as the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Harvest. It was one of the feast days that Yah required all the Israelite males to present themselves before Him in Jerusalem. (Exodus 23:16,17).

I’ve even heard one “leader” say that Paul went to the feast to evangelize Jews, and certainly Paul would have told them about the Master Yahushua. But Paul was getting back to Jerusalem at the command of Yah! This is the difference between someone who just did not know about the feast days and someone who knew but refuses to state the significance of them even when they have a platform to do so.

Eternal Ordinance of the Feast of Tabernacles

The feast of tabernacles is another feast day that will have significance in the Kingdom of Yah throughout all eternity. Yah was not wasting His breath when He gave the commands to celebrate the feast days at His appointed times and seasons. They are everlasting commands.

Zechariah 14:16-21 presents a description of how the kingdom is going to look after the Master Yahushua returns to bring judgement to the world and rewards to His servants. The Master Yahushua is named the “King” and the remnant of the families of the world system are called the “family of Egypt.” These are described as the remnant of those that came against Jerusalem; Jerusalem is the name for the true followers of Yahushua.

Yah said that everyone will come up to Jerusalem from year to year to worship the King and to keep the feast of tabernacles. Many people will not even make it through the judgement period. However, those who make it through and  still rebelliously do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles will have no rain as a plague. As most farmers know, no rain means no life.

Please read Leviticus 23 for more information about the feast of tabernacles and the other feasts of the Yah. Also, remember to have love for the brotherhood of believers. The Master Yahushua stated in Matthew 12:48-50,  “Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?… whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother and sister and mother.”

Shalom!
