The Hypocrite’s Diet And The Stiff-Necked People

Scripture References: Exodus 33:3; Exodus 32:9; Romans 14:1-3; Genesis 1:29; Leviticus 11; Psalm 103:5; Revelation 22:2; Ezekiel 47:12; Isaiah 65:25; Isaiah 65:20; Matthew 24:29-31

When I first suspected that many of the African-Americans in the United States were descendants of the ancient Israelites, I looked for confirmation in the scriptures. One account stood out in my mind. It was when the I AM told Moses that He had been watching the people, and He said that they are a “stiff-necked people.” He said that if He came down to dwell among them that He would likely consume them in His wrath. He reiterated that it was a good idea for those people to have a mediator …Moses at the time… as a proxy for instruction and communication. After I read that account, I instinctively knew that they were related to today’s Negroes.

“…I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.” Exodus 33:3

One thing that Black folks are most stubborn about is their diet. Yes, many people will say, “you’re such a hypocrite, I remember when you used to eat crabmeat, ham, shrimp etc.” My only answer to them as with any other sin committed in the past is that now I know better and I do better. I no longer pollute my body. My journey began with following the covenant dietary rules back in 2011 and led to me becoming a vegan-styled eater.

I make it a point to explain my diet to people who ask me about it in person. I do not push my views of vegan or vegetarian eating to people who do not ask me about it. The reason is because I tried to tell people the benefits of such a diet, and people just acted angry and resentful.

However, I’m going to explain why this type of diet is beneficial for believers (especially) Israelites who have been raised on cheap foods and the Standard American Diet for most of their lives. I promise not to make a habit of pushing the idea of vegan eating on people, but a clean diet is so important for overall health that it warrants a post. Take it or leave it.

We’ve Been Weakened

The writings in Romans tell early church members who were living in Gentile communities to not judge a person’s faith in the Most High by what they ate. According to the author, some people believed that they could eat anything, but those who were weak ate only vegetables.

“For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs.” Romans 14:2

Many people take this scripture to mean that if you only eat vegetables, then you must have weak faith. That is true to a certain extent. I certainly have very little faith in food suppliers and the global food and beverage industry in general. The latest article about imported seafood will help you to understand why. “Asian Seafood Raised on Pig Feces Approved for U.S. Consumers.” This article disturbed me for obvious reasons and inspired this post. Please note that there are many Asian people who would not do this to anyone- so no offense was meant to our Asian brothers and sisters.

Even if the Food and Drug Administration weren’t trying to kill us, there are so many imported goods coming into the country that their agents cannot possible inspect every food product. Also, trade agreements that most Americans know nothing about let alone approve of ensure that a flow of questionable food stuffs will continue to arrive on the grocery store shelves. Many of us (especially Israelites) remain dependent on their system for food.

Because of deceptive marketing that leads to poor nutritional education, many of our people (myself included) spent a lifetime consuming garbage. Our bodies have been weakened through years of nutrient-poor dietary lifestyles. We are relatively weak. To regain strength and overall wellness, the scriptures direct us straight to fresh, raw produce—organic if you can get it.

Our Earliest Ancestors Were Vegan

Although we were told in Leviticus 11 that we could eat clean meats, I do not believe that animal products were meant to be our primary sources of food from the beginning. In Genesis 1:29, The Most High said that he gave man (male and female) every seed bearing plant and fruit trees for our food.

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:29

All of the originally created animals were also vegans according to the next verse in Genesis.

“And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.” Genesis 1:30

Proper Diet Restores Youth

Psalm 103:5 is a declaration of praise to the Most High by King David. He said that the I Am satisfies our mouths with good things to eat so that our youth is renewed like the eagles. Folks, I do not have “before and after” pictures of myself (not any flattering ones, anyway), but I can tell you that a diet of meat does not produce youthful looks. Fresh produce combined with pure water, fresh air and sufficient exercise does.

“Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:5

Physical Healing Needed Throughout the Messianic Kingdom

The Messiah promised us that immediately after the tribulation (times of testing) period has passed that His sign would appear in the heavens. He said that He would send his angels to gather His elect from the four corners of heaven. There is evidence that there will be a lot of us who will be sickly or in need of healing. The apostle John and the prophet/priest Ezekiel said that the leaves of trees would be for the healing of the nations when they referred to the time of the new heaven and new earth.

“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:12

“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:2

These scriptures confirm that the healing protocols of the Most High have not changed. And yes, I believe that the Savior healed people instantly without the help of herbs when He walked the earth. He was granted the authority to do so. The people that he healed instantly were not sick because they refused to eat proper nutrition. Many of those people were so poor that they were not getting enough food to build up their bodies’ immune systems and fight off ailments. They needed supernatural help for their diseases.

Veganism During the 1000-year Messianic Reign

There is indication that during the coming Messianic reign and the subsequent kingdom of heaven which will occur after the 1,000 years everyone will be a vegetarian or a vegan. Isaiah 65:25 says that the lion will eat straw like the ox. The scriptures go on to say that there will be no more destruction or killing throughout this kingdom. If a carnivorous animal such as a lion will stop eating meat, surely omnivorous humans will too.

“The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 65:25

This type of plant-based diet is likely a contributing factor to the long life that the citizens of the Messianic kingdom will enjoy. It appears that only a sinner will die after living only a hundred years; that person will be considered a mere child in comparison to everyone else.

“There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.” Isaiah 65:20

When in Babylon, Take a Page From Daniel’s Book

I’ve heard it all. Jesus ate fish. The priests ate meat from the sacrifices. Fried chicken is tasty and a clean meat. All of these things are true. However, we are living in the most spiritually perilous times in history. We are living in the days of Noah and the days of Lot.

Many of the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers are polluted, and we’ve been eating the scavengers (lobsters, crabs, catfish, oyster etc.) that are supposed to help clean these bodies of water. This means that even the clean fish may not be fit to eat. Farm-raised fish and other meats like chicken are contaminated with antibiotics and hormones unless you raise your own. Most restaurants are not concerned about sourcing humanely raised, uncontaminated meats for their dishes. If they can make it taste good, they know that people will come back for more…especially if the price is right.

It turns out that the price is never right when it involves consistently fueling your temple with harmful foods. Most of the diseases that are encountered in the Western world are diet related, and many other countries are sadly adopting the unhealthy eating habits of those who live in the United States. I believe that we are close to the gathering of the elect as described in Matthew 24. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to limp across home plate when I hear the sound of the trumpet.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31

Pray and Let the Holy Spirit Guide You and Not Your Own Understanding

It’s dark outside, and you haven’t walked this road before. It’s time to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and apply wisdom especially when diet and health is concerned. I became a vegetarian in early 2011 because I came across writings in the Dead Sea Scrolls about the Essene community. The Spirit has since led me step by step to adopt a vegan lifestyle.

Because my body was weakened for so many years by poor diet (processed junk foods), antibiotics in meats, chlorine in tap water and any number of toxins from shots taken while serving in the military, my current diet is even further restricted. In addition to being vegan, I also don’t consume grains, coffee, chocolate or any potatoes. The Spirit also warned me not to take supplements; I get my nutrients from foods only.

Importance of Hydration

I now drink at least a gallon of distilled water daily. I used to believe that distilled water would leach minerals from the body, but anecdotal evidence shows that only the inorganic minerals get pulled from the body by using distilled water. The inorganic minerals are the ones that get lodged in different areas of the body causing joint problems and kidney stones. The organic minerals that are assimilated into the body through the consumption of mineral-rich fruit, vegetables and seeds do not get flushed out of the body when a person consumes distilled water.

Our bodies were designed intelligently to conserve water loss if it is conditioned to not getting enough water regularly. Ailments that we attribute to medicines and other toxic pollutants are often caused by not drinking enough water. No, I’m not a doctor, and I don’t pretend to be one on social media. However, I came across an article about asthma sufferers who were helped by just drinking more pure water. The logic behind it is that we lose much of our body’s water through respiration. When the body does not have enough water to spare, it constricts the bronchial tubes so that less water is lost by the exhalation process.

Also, one doctor who treats patients with dementia said that whenever he gets new patients that he prescribes the consumption of large amounts of water for the first three weeks. He said that they dramatically improve most of the time because their brains are finally getting properly hydrated. He takes “before and after” brain scan pictures and runs all sorts of cognitive tests to show measurable results. Dehydration is a probable cause of dementia in some cases.

This type of diet is not for everyone; everyone’s bodies are in different states of health or ailment. However, it’s time for everyone to watch what they eat during these End Times. If you’re still eating meat or any type of animal products, you probably should try to find a local source for it that you trust such as a nearby farm or ranch.

Shalom in the Master!
