Watch And Pray

If you haven’t started preparing your heart to follow Yahweh, I urge you to please do so.  I’m not going to give dates for Yahushua’s return because doing so is contrary to Scripture.  Yahushua said that no man knows the day or the hour.  But he said to watch.

In order to watch, you have to know what it is that you are asked to watch.  Having this knowledge comes from a dedication to reading the Scripture and more importantly a relationship with Yahweh through His Spirit.  Remember, we are supposed to worship Him in spirit and in truth.  The Spirit of Yahweh is supposed to teach us the correct interpretation of the Scriptures.  Armed with this interpretation of the Scriptures, we can “watch and pray” effectively.

If you have prepared your hearts to follow Yahweh (Hallelujah!!), then please pray for the entire body of Yahushua.  Yahushua said that the times in which we are living (latter days) would be a time of unparalleled deception.  If it were possible, the very elect would be deceived.  So don’t pridefully think that you can easily spot deception; watch and pray that you and other believers don’t fall into temptation.

I don’t like to give too much credit to the adversary, but if Yahushua said that the deception would be great, then I believe Him!

    Hi Katrina,
Found your blog because our home fellowship is discussing the subject on “when to flee Babylon”. I very much enjoyed your article on the subject. After that I’ve done some poking around on your site and see that you have such a heart for truth and to follow YHVH. I just wanted to add possibly some insight to ‘watch and pray’. Y’shua certainly said that no man knows the day or the hour, but are you aware that that phrase is a Jewish idiom for the Feast of Trumpets? I believe from that scripture and many others that we can be sure our Savior’s return will be one year on the Feast of Trumpets. – Now if we can only find/agree on the calendar 😉

    Blessings,
    Linda

      Hi Linda,
Wow-I did not know that! However, I got a clue by reading I Corinthians 15:52 that either the Feast of Trumpets or the Day of Atonement was THE DAY! Paul/Shaul stated that we would be “changed” at the “last trump.” I figured that there is a series of trumpets sounding during the Feast of Trumpets, and another blast during the Day of Atonement that follows on the 10th day of the seventh month.

“Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.” Leviticus 25:9

When we are changed and receive our glorified bodies, it will certainly be just like a jubilee won’t it?!!!

Thanks for the insight on “watch and pray”

…and Shalom in the Master Yahushua!

HI Katrina, My husband and I used to live in Washington and attended El Shaddai (Pastor Mark Biltz). He was a guest speaker in CA and did a good teaching on the eclipses that are coming up in 2014/2015 (on feast days), and if I remember correctly (it’s been a while since I watched) he goes into detail about certain idioms. I know he covers ‘the thief in the night’. Nonetheless it’s a great teaching and worth the watch. Hope you enjoy!

Shalom in the Master Yahushua, sis! Even though the teachings are insightful, you know to always rely on the Ruach ha Kodesh to teach you everything you need to know. -Katrina

We learn from many teachers, but only follow YHVH 🙂 Pray for wisdom and discernment – Midrash everything!

We don’t agree 100% with any man, but Pastor Mark does a great job with ‘idioms’, the Hebrew language and *nuggets* of info. Rico does a great job of teaching the temple service, covenant, and explaining the ancient near east culture (so important for a Hebraic understanding). Brad does a great job of relating the natural (agriculture and science) to the spiritual. Scot appears to have a good grasp of eschatology relating to Damascus. 119 Ministries is an excellent beginners resource for defense of the torah. One new teacher we are very much enjoying, but he has little available, is Rabbi Ben Burton from Texas. He has an amazing, deep teaching on the Virgin Birthand one on the Diety of Y’shua.

I really enjoy reading your heart on your posts. Our group continued our discussion regarding Fleeing Babylon and we discussed the three Hebrew men in the furnace as well as David and Abigail (thank you). Today, my husband and I were continuing the discussion and my husband brought up Song of Solomon. We believe there are patterns there also – wanting to dive into it this week.

        Blessings in Y’shua, Linda
